This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains what you may and may not do on FoundLoveHere. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every profile, photo, message, voice note, video call, and other use of the Service. If a rule here conflicts with the Terms, the Terms control.
Who may use the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and provide an accurate date of birth. Government ID verification and face scans are optional and earn verification badges; neither is required to message matches.
- You may use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes: meeting real people for dating and relationships.
- One person, one account. Do not create or use secondary, fake, automated, or "throwaway" accounts.
Prohibited content
You may not upload, post, send, or display content that:
- Involves minors in any sexual or exploitative way. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material and report it to the authorities immediately.
- Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or nudity-focused, including in private chats and video calls.
- Is violent, graphic, gory, or glorifies self-harm, suicide, or abuse.
- Promotes or facilitates terrorism, violent extremism, or organized crime.
- Constitutes hate speech, slurs, or content that dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
- Is harassing, threatening, bullying, defamatory, or discriminatory.
- Infringes anyone's intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights, including images of other people without their consent.
- Reveals private personal information (yours or someone else's): full address, phone number, government IDs, or financial details.
Prohibited conduct
- Deception: no impersonation, catfishing, fake identities, false ages, or photos that are not of you.
- Harassment: no threats, stalking, unwanted sexual messages, or continuing to contact someone after they've asked you to stop.
- Fraud and spam: no scams, phishing, romance scams, crypto or investment schemes, pyramid or MLM recruitment, sweepstakes, or unsolicited promotions.
- Commercial exploitation: no prostitution, escorting, sugar arrangements, or advertising other services, products, or competing apps.
- Illegal trade: no offering, selling, or promoting weapons, drugs, or other regulated or illegal goods or services.
- Off-platform pressure: no pressuring people off the app to defraud or exploit them elsewhere.
- Platform abuse: no scraping, reverse engineering, automated data collection, attempting to bypass bans or verification, probing or attacking our systems, or interfering with the Service's normal operation.
- Payment abuse: no fraudulent charges, chargeback fraud, or unauthorized resale of subscriptions.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you create and send, including AI-suggested icebreakers you choose to use.
- Keep your account secure and don't share it with anyone else.
- Meet new people safely: meet in public for first dates, tell a friend where you're going, and leave if anything feels off.
How we enforce this policy
Depending on severity, we may remove content, hide your profile from Discover, warn you, restrict features, suspend your account, or permanently ban you — typically within 24 hours of a substantiated report. Bans apply to the person, not just the account; evading a ban with a new account is itself a violation. Serious violations may be referred to law enforcement.
Reporting violations
Report or block anyone from the ⋯ menu on any profile or chat. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, typically within 24 hours. For urgent safety issues email safety@foundlovehere.com. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
Appeals
If you believe action taken against your account was in error, email safety@foundlovehere.com from the address on the account with a brief explanation. We respond as quickly as possible.
Changes
We may update this AUP as the Service evolves. The current version is always available at this page.
